‘Mixed’ news for Girls
The Football Association voted at its Annual General Meeting last week to extend mixed football up to the Under 13 age group from next season.
This change will be incorporated by the Chiltern Church Junior Football League who will now allow girls to play in their mixed teams up to and including Under 13s in season 2011-12.
Previously mixed football was only allowed up to Under 10s but at HTJFC we have run all girls teams for a number of years, thanks to the initiatives taken by Mark Barrow, Karen Barr, Steve Roy and Russell Thomas, all supported by the club committee.
About Us
Holy Trinity Juniors Football Club is a FA Charter Standard Club located in Hazlemere, Buckinghamshire.
- We have teams of boys and girls ranging from ages 6 to 16 and also offer a free year's football coaching to Under 6's.
- Our team managers and coaches have been trained by the FA to at least level 1 coaching standard, have First Aid qualifications and have the necessary Child Protection clearance.
- Our teams play in the Chiltern Church Junior League and the Bucks Girls Football League and take part in tournaments such as the Hazlemere Sixes which has been organised and hosted by HTJFC for several years.
- We have close links with the Holy Trinity Church, Hazlemere who support us in a number of ways.
