HTJFC LogoThe AGM of HTJFC was held on Monday 4th July and the following will be of interest to those not present:

-we were pleased to be able to make a £5k loan to Hazlemere Sports Association in the last year. Despite this, HTJFC remains financially healthy and once again there will be no increase in subscription rates for season 2011-12
despite fewer teams entering the Hazlemere Sixes tournament, we achieved a better surplus due to the fine weather and larger donations from our concessions
– More new kit will be purchased as required for next season
Other matters:
– A slight reduction in our playing numbers means recruitment remains a priority at certain age groups.
Registration dates for next season will be on the 3rd and 10th September.
– Our Tea Barr was a great success and a good share of the profit will be given to Holy Trinity Church for them to allocate to a good cause. Thanks to Rosanna “Nana” Barr for all her hard work here. and thanks to all parents and other supporters/visitors who supported her venture.
– First CCJFL games next season will be on 17th September 2011 but with the possibility of variable kick off times
– HT Vixens are merging with and moving to Penn for a season
27th August there will be a large outdoor event including a beer festival and music – more info to follow
Paul Baldock is now Club Chairman of HTJFC.  Russell Thomas remains as Club Welfare Officer and is of course still heavily involved with HTJFC as well as his duties with the new pavilion through Hazlemere Sports Association.
 – Hazlemere Parish Council have given High Wycombe Croquet Club permission to use and develop part of the Rec (currently our Junior Pitch) and work on the croquet lawns will start as soon as funds are available. Howevere we are seeking to get Wycombe Council to convert our existing full size pitch 3 into two junior pitches. In the meantime, there may be some relocating for certain teams’ matches.
– A presentation was given on the FA’s plans for restructuring junior football (Your Kids Your Say) – see separate article on this which includes the full presentation.
Next HTJFC meeting is 9th September at 8pm
