Wanderers Legend at Hazlemere Sixes

Former Wycombe Wanderers player Keith Ryan came along to the Hazlemere Sixes on Saturday 26th May, to present some of the cups and medals. Keith stayed for nearly two hours chatting to a number of people and presenting the medals to every child that took part in the Under 7s and Under8s events. Later he awarded the cups and trophies to the Under12s and Under 14s boys Cup and Plate competition winners and runners up.

“Rhino” played over 500 games for the Wanderers scoring more than 50 goals. Most notable of those was his goal in the FA Cup Semi Final vs Liverpool in 2001.

Keith, who was signed for Wycombe by Martin O’Neill in 1990, later became caretaker manager of the club and then had a spell as an assistant manager under John Gorman.
